DISTANCE SALES / SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Distance Sales / Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is concluded electronically, in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, between TYD Turizm Hizmetleri Danışmanlık A.Ş. (“Organizer” or “Seller / Service Provider”) and the participant/consumer (“Buyer”) who purchases a ticket for the TIF2026 Tourism Investment Forum via the website tif2026.com.

By confirming this Agreement and the Pre-Contractual Information Form electronically, the Buyer declares that he/she has read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions of this Agreement and agrees to be a party to it.

  1. PARTIES

1.2. Buyer (Participant / Consumer)

The real or legal person who completes the registration and ticket purchase through tif2026.com, whose identity and contact details are provided in the pre-contractual information form and on the payment page.

The Buyer declares and undertakes that he/she performs the transaction either on his/her own behalf or as an authorized representative of a legal entity.

  1. SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

The subject of this Agreement is to set out the rights and obligations of the Parties regarding the sale of a ticket / provision of a service for the Buyer’s participation in the TIF2026 Tourism Investment Forum purchased electronically via the website tif2026.com.

The purchased service is participation in a tourism investment forum / event organized on a specific date(s) and at a physical venue. It does not include any online or hybrid broadcasting / remote service component.

  1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE, TICKET TYPES AND SCOPE

3.1. Via tif2026.com, the Buyer may purchase one or more of the following ticket types:

Early Bird Ticket
Standard Ticket

3.2. The ticket(s) purchased grant the Buyer the right to attend TIF2026 Tourism Investment Forum on the dates, at the venue and within the scope specified in the official event program.

3.3. The ticket is valid only for the relevant event and does not include accommodation, transportation, visa, insurance, or any similar ancillary services. All arrangements and costs in relation to such services are solely under the responsibility of the Buyer.

  1. TICKET PRICE, VAT AND PAYMENT

4.1. Ticket prices are displayed on tif2026.com inclusive of VAT for each ticket type. Prior to completing the purchase, the Buyer clearly sees and confirms the total amount (including all applicable taxes).

4.2. Payment may be made using the following methods:

Credit Card
Bank Transfer / EFT

4.3. Payment transactions are processed via the Organizer’s contracted bank(s) and/or payment service provider(s). The Organizer does not store the Buyer’s credit card details in its own systems; such data are processed by the relevant payment infrastructure providers and financial institutions.

4.4. The invoice is issued in accordance with applicable legislation, based on the billing information provided by the Buyer.

  1. CONCLUSION AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE AGREEMENT

5.1. On tif2026.com, the Buyer:

Confirms that he/she has read the Agreement and the Pre-Contractual Information Form,
Sees and confirms the ticket type, quantity and total amount,
Checks the accuracy of payment information,

and, after marking the relevant checkbox and completing the payment, is deemed to have accepted this Agreement electronically.

5.2. This Agreement becomes effective upon the Buyer’s electronic approval. Following the successful payment, the Organizer sends the ticket/registration confirmation to the Buyer via electronic means (e.g. e-mail).

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND CONDITIONS

6.1. The Buyer acknowledges that the subject of this Agreement is a service relating to the participation in an event/conference organized on a specific date, which is considered a service for leisure time activities.

6.2. Pursuant to Article 15/1(g) of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts, relating to Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, there is no right of withdrawal for distance contracts regarding services for accommodation, transportation of goods, car rental, supply of food and beverages, and services for leisure or entertainment activities to be performed on a specific date or period.

6.3. Accordingly, Early Bird and Standard tickets are non-refundable and are not subject to any right of withdrawal. The Buyer declares that he/she is aware of and accepts that no right of withdrawal may be exercised in relation to the purchased ticket(s).

6.4. The Buyer may not request a full or partial refund of the ticket price, nor request credit or a voucher, on the grounds of withdrawal or otherwise. There is no separate service fee / transaction fee; in any event, the Organizer does not accept any obligation to refund the ticket price.

  1. TICKET TRANSFER, NAME CHANGE AND NO-SHOW

7.1. Ticket transfer is strictly prohibited. The Buyer may not transfer, resell or lease the ticket he/she has purchased to any third party.

7.2. Name changes are not allowed. If a change of participant is required, a new registration and a new ticket purchase are necessary; the existing ticket cannot be canceled or refunded.

7.3. In the event that the Buyer or the participant to whom the ticket is assigned does not attend the event for any reason (no-show), the ticket price will not be refunded; no exception shall be made.

7.4. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to health issues, visa refusal, flight cancellations, accommodation problems or other third-party-related reasons, shall the Buyer be entitled to a refund or postponement. The responsibility for such circumstances lies entirely with the Buyer.

  1. PERFORMANCE, CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT

8.1. The Organizer uses reasonable efforts to organize TIF2026 Tourism Investment Forum in accordance with the announced program. However, the Organizer reserves the right to make changes in details such as speakers, agenda, rooms or similar program elements. Such changes do not entitle the Buyer to any refund or compensation.

8.2. In case the event is completely canceled by the Organizer, the Buyer shall not be entitled to claim a refund of the ticket price. The Organizer has no obligation to refund, credit or issue any voucher for the ticket price.

8.3. In case the event is postponed:

Purchased tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date.
If the Buyer cannot attend or does not accept the new date, no refund or price reduction right shall arise.

8.4. The same provisions apply in cases of force majeure (such as pandemic, earthquake, war, strikes, decisions of public authorities, etc.) that result in the event not being held, being postponed, or its format being changed. The Buyer cannot claim any refund of the ticket price on such grounds.

  1. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

9.1. The Buyer’s personal data are processed in accordance with the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and relevant legislation, for the purposes of ticket sales, registration, notification, invoicing, and fulfillment of the Organizer’s legal obligations within the scope of TIF2026.

9.2. Detailed information regarding the processing, transfer and retention of personal data, as well as the Buyer’s rights, is set out in the Privacy and Security Policy published on tif2026.com. By purchasing a ticket, the Buyer declares that he/she has read and accepted this policy.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1. The Organizer is obliged to provide its services under TIF2026 with reasonable care and in accordance with professional standards. However, the Organizer is not responsible for issues arising from the Buyer’s own fault or from third-party service providers (including but not limited to airlines, hotels, visa agencies, etc.).

10.2. Without prejudice to mandatory provisions of applicable law, the Organizer’s total liability under this Agreement may, in any case, be limited to the relevant ticket price.

  1. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

11.2. If the Buyer qualifies as a consumer under Turkish law, he/she may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees within the statutory monetary limits, and to the Consumer Courts for disputes exceeding such limits, in accordance with Law No. 6502 and relevant regulations.

11.3. In any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement, the Organizer’s records (including computer/server records, logs, electronic mail correspondence, etc.) shall constitute conclusive evidence, to the extent permitted by law.

  1. EFFECTIVENESS AND ACCEPTANCE

12.1. This Agreement enters into force on the date it is electronically approved by the Buyer.

12.2. By completing the ticket purchase process on tif2026.com, the Buyer declares and undertakes that he/she has read, understood and unconditionally accepted all provisions of this Distance Sales / Service Agreement.
